About Us: Our Journey and Commitment

  • Be Noble Workshop™© CIC

Be Noble Workshop™© CIC was set up in November 2022. As a CIC we aim to work with adults and young people with lived experience of the Criminal Justice System, Care System, Mental Health, Trauma, Domestic Violence, Substance misuse and people from the Bame Community.

  • What is it to be noble?

It is about knowing and accepting all of you and being able to present the best you to the world; even when you don't feel it. One of the definitions of Noble is : having or showing fine personal qualities. That is what we aim to achieve with these courses.

  • About our workshops

Our workshops use drama and theraputic techniques to create a safe setting where we can explore the participants life and focus on the skills that helped them survive. We remove stigma and shame and reframe thought patterns so that they can identify transferrable skills and begin to see their unique experience as a strength.

  • What's next?

With a newfound confidence we then focus on future goals and discuss the practical needs for these to be attained. Through role play we practise interviews and real-world situations to develop their communication skills and emotional regulation. We support them with a tailor made programme which focuses on their personal development, goals and emotional wellbeing.

  • Further support for participants

Participants also recieve one-to-one support to identify and obtain their pathway into education, training, employment or improved social life and relationships. We also signpost to support agencies for any further needs.

People with lived experience are able to offer a unique perspective into how services work and the best support needed for others. This unique perspective is being under-utilized. We can be encouraging people with lived experience to become fundamental members of our statutory organisations to ensure that we are delivering support in the most efficient way
